Your files and rights
You must have permission to use and modify every file you process. You retain ownership of your source files and exported work. You grant the service only the limited permission needed to process your instructions.
Terms of use
These terms apply when you access PSDTranslate, upload source files, edit extracted text, request AI translation or export generated images.
Service conditions
Keep your originals. Review your output.
PSDTranslate works with supported editable text layers. Fonts, effects and document structure can affect the result. Test your files and review each exported image before using it commercially.
Browser processing
The app reads PSD files in your browser and does not upload them to the PSDTranslate server. Your queue and edits are not saved as a cloud project. Closing or refreshing the tab can lose unsaved work.
AI output
AI translation can contain mistakes, unsuitable claims or text that does not fit the original design. You remain responsible for reviewing language, legal claims, layout and final exported assets before publication.
Third-party services
PSDTranslate uses Photopea as an embedded PSD rendering engine for edited exports and OpenAI for optional AI translation. Source PSDs and supplied fonts are passed to the embedded Photopea frame after your confirmation. Selected text and translation context go through our server to OpenAI when you request AI translation. Clerk provides sign-in, and Stripe handles payments.
Fair use
Do not use the service to process unlawful material, infringe intellectual-property rights, bypass service limits, disrupt the platform or expose credentials. Automated abuse may be restricted without notice.
Availability and liability
The service is provided on an as-available basis without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation or perfect output. To the extent permitted by law, PSDTranslate is not liable for indirect loss, lost revenue or publication of unreviewed output.
Data and suppliers
Third-party technology remains part of the processing chain.
- Photopea is used through an embedded browser frame to open PSDs, update selected text and return a rendered PNG. PSDTranslate creates your selected JPG or PNG download in the browser.
- Photopea states that files opened in its editor are processed locally and do not leave the device.
- OpenAI receives extracted text and relevant translation instructions only after an explicit AI-translation request.
- Provider availability, browser restrictions and missing fonts can affect rendering or export.
- You should keep your original PSDs and review every translated image before commercial use.

Plans and purchases: review the credit allowance, billing period and total including any applicable taxes before confirming a purchase in Stripe Checkout. Custom service levels, integrations and branded workspaces require a separate agreement.
